Gained from a career as a professional dancer, Robin brings to her Pilates instruction a knowledge of human mechanics and movement. She believes that Mr. Pilates’ basic philosophy of integration of mind and body make for a more healthy self, giving you an awareness and strength that carries over into everyday movement. Robin also feels that along with the core strength that Pilates helps you build, gaining flexibility is also a very important result of the practice.
“Most people don’t think about how they are moving,” Robin says. “Pilates teaches you how to move in ways that make you feel better, move better and look better. It’s for everyone—no matter what your age, gender or fitness level.”
Robin is certified through the Pilates Institute of Southern California and has been teaching for over 10 years. She emphasizes a friendly and supportive atmosphere in which you always succeed…and have fun!
